Developmental Services
Developmental Services consist of trained, qualified and energetic individuals providing the highest levels of services in the areas of Intensive Behavioral Interventions and Developmental Therapy.
Intensive Behavioral Interventions (IBI)
IBI is a Medicaid service that is for children ages 3-21, with developmental disabilities who display challenging behaviors. Our therapists will work with children to develop positive behaviors and the skills they need to function in typical home and community environments. Intensive Behavioral Interventions are individualized and comprehensive and used on a short-term, one-on-one basis. It has been shown to be effective and produce measureable outcomes. IBI techniques help diminish behaviors that interfere with development, use of language and appropriate social skills which broaden an otherwise severely restricted range of interest.
Developmental Therapy (DT)
Developmental Therapy is a Medicaid service for children, ages 3-18, with developmental delays. Our therapists will provide one-on-one therapy in the home, community and/or our center to teach them daily life skills. These skills include: safety, social skills, receptive language, independent living skills, hygiene (if needed), gross and fine motor skills and more.
